But next Tuesday is another big day. "I'm honestly nervous," said Josh Jones, Creighton basketball stand out. On that day, he will undergo his fourth heart surgery. His first one came when he was just 17 years old. "I remember waking up in intensive care, how sore I was and how it altered my life," said Jones. He vows not to this time. In fact the three-point specialist will attack the emotion of it all with, well, three points. "The three things that keep me going whenever I want to quit are my belief in God. My Family, and all the supporters," said Jones. Josh Jones- "And all the supporters in the state of Nebraska." And it's those supporters who he turns to for help with medical expenses and more. "My father passed in 2006 when I was a sophomore in high school. Since then, being the father, son and brother to my family, it's my responsibility to provide," said Jones who wants to make a difference in the lives of kids. "I have a mission and that's to be selfless and to be there for people. But right now I need everyone's help." Anyone who would like to help is urged to donate funds at a Fund Our Community website.
