College World Series Blamed for Bike Shop's Move

OMAHA (KPTM) - Every year the College World Series bringshundreds of thousands of fans. This also means fans that are willing to open upthe pocket book and spend money. But one shop in downtown Omaha says they lose'normal' business during the College World Series. So, Greenstreet Cyclespacked up its bikes and moved to a temporary shop on 24th andHarney.

Wednesday was the first day the bike shop was open at the 'new'location. Jolene Holland tells Fox 42 News they made the decision to movebecause it was difficult for the stores costumers to park during the CWS.

"It is a little bit crazy and so trying to keep businessesas normal isn't possible," she said.

Greenstreet Cycles is renting the shop on 13th andMike Fa hey to Wilson Sporting Good s and DeMarini. Both are baseball retailersand Holland says is a better fit for the CWS.

Greenstreets Cycles will be open at the temporarylocation through June 26th. They will reopen at July 1st.
