No names have been released.
It happened during a youth wrestling tournament at the Weeping Water High School gym.
Chief West says two medical choppers were called to the scene. Two victims went to Nebraska Medical Center, the other two went to a Lincoln hospital.
Chief West says the hoop was a folding hoop, and that a cable or bolt may have broken, causing it to drop down and hit the victims.
