OMAHA (KPTM) - Less than a week until it's game time at TD Ameritrade Park, Omaha. The park is almost complete and Fox 42 got a park preview.

Next week, baseball fans will root, root, root for their team at the new park downtown.

"There is a separate entrance for the teams. So, they don't have to go through the main gate, like at Rosenblatt," said Kent Grisham, Kiewit Construction.

Players will enjoy quite the upgrade before stepping foot on to the new field. They will prep in a new clubhouse room.

"They club house are so much larger so, much comfortable. They are designed with technology. So, that players can keep track of the games going on as well," said Grisham

"It's going to be a much more different experience for the players than anything they had here in Omaha before."

"Here is a real wow factory. They are going to walk in and see they expansive wide comfortable concourse that wraps around 360 degrees."

"So, they can get up from their seats and they can go to concourse for concession or whatever and never lose touch with what's happening on the field."

And baseball fans can keep up with the score and player stats, better than every with the massive jumbo screen

"Their going to seeit's not the largest in the area but it's close to it. Watch all the game action all the entertainment aspects that it can provide during a game," said Roger Dixon, MECA.

"Now folks here tell Fox 42 there's not one bad seat in the house."

"I will stake everything I know that there is not one bad seat. They are more comfortable. The seats are wider and the allies are deeper. It was stadium designed for the great experience of the fan and the player," said Grisham.

"The Road to Omaha" is one of the final pieces to the puzzle at the park. And they expect to have it place by next week. The new home of the College World Series opens next week Tuesday April 19, with a game between Creighton and the University of Nebraska. The new park will host the College World Series on June 18.
