Reports: Harvey Weinstein to stay in Arizona after completing first phase of rehab
Harvey Weinstein will stay in Arizona after completing the intensive phase of rehab for sex addiction issues, according to The Blast.
The Hollywood mogul entered treatment last week at The Meadows, an addiction treatment facility outside of Phoenix.
Sources close to Weinstein told The Blast that the film producer had completed the first "intensive" part of his treatment and will continue outpatient therapy while staying in Arizona for the next four to six weeks.
Those sources further stated that reports claiming Weinstein would leave the state after one week of treatment were false.
The Meadows program for sex addiction offers 45-days of inpatient treatment, but sources said he would be receiving treatment in a one-on-one setting due to concerns about privacy and confidentiality.
Weinstein has been accused by dozens of women of sexual harassment, and sexual assault. The Los Angeles Police Department confirmed this week that they opened an investigation into Weinstein, looking into claims made by a former actress that the film executive raped her.
