Police investigate crash near 99th Street, Blair High Road


UPDATE: OMAHA -- Police say two children including an 8-year-old boy were hurt in the crash.

The boy was taken to a hospital with severe head injuries that are possibly life-threatening. A six-year-old boy was treated for pain and released from the hospital.

Police say a Honda Civic was making a left turn at 99th and Blair High Road when a Ford Explorer ran a red light and hit the Civic.

The car then crashed into a Jeep that was stopped at the light.

Officials say the crash is still under investigation.


Police are investigating a three-car crash that took place near 99th Street and Blair High Road Sunday afternoon.

The crash happened at around 2:15 p.m.

A woman and two children were in one car, and police say the children were taken to the hospital with serious injuries.

The driver of another car was taken to hospital with minor injuries

The driver of the third car was uninjured.
