Bus Driver injured among group of rainy morning crashes
OMAHA, NEB(FOX42KPTM)-- A bus driver was hurt in a crash this morning, just one of a bunch across the Omaha metro on a rainy Friday morning commute.
Omaha Public Schools spokesperson Monique Farmer told Fox 42 KPTM the bus driver works with Student Transportation of America. It's OPS' busing contractor.
Farmer said the bus was on its way to Belle Ryan Elementary. It crashed at 30th and Lake.
She said the bus driver was hurt badly enough he had to be taken to the hospital.
As of 11 a.m., Omaha police said there were ten crashes across the metro.
They tweeted this out earlier in the morning asking people to slow down in the rain.
