The City of Omaha along with Olsson and Associates have teamed up to fix some local roads.
On their to do list now, 13th and 14th streets from I-80 to I-480.
A public meeting was held Monday evening to give the community a chance to voice their concerns and wants.
Stickers were given to each person and they voted on what they wanted most done.
A presentation was put on by Olsson and Associates and the city as well.
The two talked about recreating the corridors to better suit all modes of travel, including bikes and walking.
One resident of the area, Helen Curtis said she wants the speed controlled better and an easier way to walk from 13th street to downtown Omaha.
The city said so far there are no solid plans for the project but City Engineer Todd Pfitzer said they will be working on it through the rest of 2018.
