Former daycare owner accused of child abuse pleads no contest
OMAHA, Neb (FOX 42KPTM)-- A former daycare owner who was caught on camera hitting and shaking a then four-year-old girl entered a no contest plea in court Tuesday morning.
Lynn Rowe was arrested in Missouri Valley, Iowa last April and charged with child abuse.
She ran Lynn's Learning Center on 112th just south of Center for more than 30 years.
On her way out of the courtroom, Rowe told the little girl's father she was sorry.
But the parents tell Fox 42 News they're frustrated about how long the whole process has taken. They also say they would have preferred a guilty plea.
Rowe is scheduled to be sentenced in January.
