Holiday lights turned on at Turner Park
OMAHA, Neb. —
With the holidays just around the corner, the lights at Turner Park were turned on Wednesday
The beautiful lights shine brightly all throughout midtown crossing.
Some local businesses ran specials to welcome the lights.
People say it's a good time to come together with friends and family.
Breanna Mack and Beth Sook came to the park to look at the lights.
"I think it brings the community together. It encourages people to outside and see how pretty and special the holidays are. It's only the first night and I've seen so many families coming around and looking at all the lights and all the kids running around it's super cute. I think it's an important thing."
Some say this is something they look forward to every year.
They say it now feels like the start of the season.
