Immanuel Hospital adds wing for patients with neurological diseases
Immanuel Hospital has added a one-stop-shop for patients with neurological diseases.
Visitors got to experience firsthand what it's like to have Multiple Sclerosis by walk-in scuba-fins.
This new facility allows patients to get all of their needs taken care of in one location and, most of the time, in one day.
"Just to do simple day-to-day tasks like getting dressed and feeding themselves,” Michelle Peopping-Faulkner said. “I think we can bring more awareness to the disease and maybe we find a way to slow it down or even stop it and cure it."
