“This year, we are pleased to once again bring world-renowned musicians to Omaha for a free concert in the park followed by a fantastic fireworks display. In addition to their No. 1 hits and the fact that they have played the past 50 years in front of sold-out crowds around the world, Kool & the Gang’s R&B-infused music is noted to have helped shape American culture,” said Robert Dalrymple, executive vice president for Bank of the West’s Midwest Division. “This year, we also are pleased to shine a spotlight on our talented local musicians — we look forward to Lincoln’s Emmett Bower Band opening the show followed by Omaha’s The Confidentials. Bank of the West Celebrates America has become a favorite Omaha tradition that not only is an annual reunion of family and friends, it recognizes the importance of celebrating America’s independence. It’s also one of the ways we say thank you to our customers and to the community.”
