Microblading for a Good Cause

Microblading for a Good Cause

The newest beauty trend sweeping the nation is called eyebrow microblading.

That may sound a little uncomfortable, but one Omaha specialist tells us the tattoo like procedure is a hit with some cancer survivors.

Lakeshia Moals has been microblading eyebrows for five years and said helping those who have lost their self-esteem is what it's all about for her.

I believe they’re the ones that can benefit most from this service and I know from the cancer survivors that I’ve had come here, it’s a life changer for them," said Moals.

Client and cancer survivor Kristi Miskimmons said after chemo she no longer felt like herself and this procedure helped her a lot.

“I didn’t feel pretty and I thought it took away enough from me, my eyebrows, I just wanted something so I wouldn’t have to remember what the chemo took from me," said Miskimmons.

Moals treats clients with all types of hair loss, including cancer survivors.
