11 Millard South football players suspended from Friday's game
OMAHA, Neb. (FOX42KPTM) —
Millard South's football team will go toe to toe with Millard West Friday night, but they'll be short team members.
Rebecca Kleeman, spokesperson for Millard Schools, says 11 players broke the student code of conduct at a pep rally earlier this week, so, they won't be able to play in the first game of the season.
The athletic director says the students were caught wearing shirts with the letters "FMW" at the rally.
School officials say it was to antagonize their opponent, Millard West, and that it was inappropriate.
The students will be able to play in the next game, Kleeman said.
