Nebraska Brass Band plays Christmas jingles for students

Children in the class were asked to help sing along and conduct the band.

You could say some children at Westbrook Elementary School are now in the Christmas spirit after what happened Tuesday.

Members of the Nebraska Brass Band went from room to room and even the playground playing Christmas jingles for the children.

They say they just wanted to spread a little holiday cheer and give the children some holiday entertainment.

Children in the class were asked to help sing along and conduct the band.

"We like to give them a good sense of music is good for the soul and today we've seen lots of people smile and laugh and that's what its really about," said Glen Greet of the Nebraska Brass Band.

The children were handed gifts by the elves from Goracke & Associates.

And the trombone player was a familiar face for the students. He is their principal!
