Nebraska task force returning home after mission in Florida
OMAHA, Ne (FOX42KPTM) - A Nebraska emergency task force is coming home after spending the past week in Florida to help with the aftermath of Hurricane Irma.
According to the Twitter page of Nebraska Emergency Task Force One, a team is in the process of demobilizing from an Air Force base where it had been staged in support of Hurricane Irma. Travel time to get back home is expected to take two days.
The task force also helped out in Texas following Hurricane Harvey before making the trip to Florida.
