New building seeks to provide healthcare for those in need
OMAHA, Neb. (FOX42KPTM) —
A new building is now helping people in need who don't have healthcare or can't afford it.
Kountze Commons will be home to the Kountze Memorial Lutheran Church Food Pantry, Healing Gift Free Clinic, Methodist Community Health Clinic and Lutheran Family Services of Nebraska.
The goal is to provide integrated care for those in need in the metro area.
"It's a group effort between Methodist, Lutheran Family Services, and Kountze where we have a mission to take care of people who need care,” said nurse practitioner Dianne Millea.
The old clinic only had three exam rooms and now the new building will have seven.
