One seriously hurt in crash, car fire in Papillion
PAPILLION, Neb (FOX 42 KPTM)-- The intersection of Highway 370 and 92nd Street is closed for several hours while police clean up from a crash.
Police tell Fox 42 News that a Volvo was heading east on 370 and ran a red light Thursday morning.
Officers say a car heading south turned into the intersection and crashed with the Volvo. They say that car had a green light.
Investigators say the crash spun out the Volvo and sent it down into the ditch.
Officers say the Volvo caught on fire. They say everyone got out of the car okay, but all were hurt badly enough they had to go to the hospital.
Police say one person was very badly hurt.
The intersection will stay closed until crews can fix the light which was damaged in the crash.
