Out of this world: Nebraska Girl Scouts head to NASA

They’re just one of ten troops chosen in the entire country.

Some Nebraska Girl Scouts are about to embark on something "out of this world."

They're headed to NASA in Maryland for space camp, and they’re just one of ten troops chosen in the entire country.

Joining them is a UNO astronomer who says she is just so excited.

Krista Testin said, "I do have a daughter in Girl Scouts and of course I'm teaching her about the moon, but I love sharing my knowledge working at the planetarium that's one of my passions."

The team consists of two high school girls, a volunteer and the astronomer.

They leave this weekend.
