UPDATE: Daycare owner arrested in child abuse case

UPDATE: According to the Harrison County Sheriff, Lynn Rowe was arrested at a home in Missouri Valley, Iowa Thursday night.

Police have issued a felony child abuse warrant for the owner of a local daycare owner and say they have been unable to find her.

On April 3, police received a complaint of child abuse that occurred at Lynn’s Learning Center, located at 3109 S. 112th St.

A 4-year-old girl's parents reported that 58-year-old daycare owner Lynn Rowe physically abused their child in her care.

On Wednesday, Omaha Police detectives got a felony arrest warrant for Rowe for child abuse.

The Omaha Metro Fugitive Taskforce has been unable to find Rowe.

Anyone with information about Rowe’s location is encouraged to call the Omaha Police Special Victim’s Unit at 402-444-5636 or Omaha Crime Stoppers at 402-444-STOP.

Omaha Police detectives are continuing to investigate if any other children were subject to abuse or neglect at Lynn’s Learning Center.
