Project Pink’d EXPOSED: VO1CE 8th annual benefit raises more than $250,000
OMAHA, Neb. (News Release) —
Project Pink’d held its EXPOSED: VO1CE 8th Annual Benefit on Friday night at the Hilton Downtown Omaha.
More than 600 guests, including breast cancer survivors and supporters, joined forces with ONE VO1CE and set a new record, raising over $250,000.
Sponsored by American National Bank, this magical celebration of hope, inspiration and survivorship included a live and silent auction, survivor ceremony and reveal of thriving survivors.
Embracing their What’s Raised Here Stays Here philosophy, all proceeds from the evening will directly benefit survivors in NE and Western IA.
Following the event, Project Pink’d Founder and President, Cynthia Sturgeon and Vice President, Dave Sturgeon shared this note of thanks to the community.
“Friday night was a complete reaffirmation of why I fell in love with this community. One evening, one goal...to help survivors thrive. And our community did just that. 650 people came together to honor, celebrate, and help survivors. The night was filled with compassion, love, and generosity beyond measure.
From the bottom of our hearts, we thank all of the volunteers, survivors, sponsors, and supporters for helping us set a new record of raising over $250,000.
The voice of our community is loud and strong, and project Pink’d is listening with open hearts.
Due to the overwhelming generosity of the community Friday, we are looking forward to expanding our programming and serving more survivors than ever through our Helping Hand, Care to Share Thanksgiving, Lymphedema, Sexual Wellness and Healing Hearts Survivor Kit programs."
