Robbers hit Family Dollar store twice in less than 24 hours
OMAHA, Neb (FOX 42 KPTM)-- Omaha police are searching for the people who robbed the Family Dollar Monday night and Tuesday afternoon.
At around 10 p.m. Monday, police say two men walked into the store off 24th and Leavenworth.
They say one of the men jumped over the counter and took money from the register then ran away.
Surveillance footage below shows Monday night's robbery.
The same store was robbed again the following afternoon.
At around 2 p.m. Tuesday, a man armed with a gun entered the business demanding cash, according to a witness.
Police say the man took an unknown amount of money and ran around the north side of the Family Dollar before heading into a nearby neighborhood.
Both investigations are ongoing.
