Therapy dogs help UNO students 'paws' stress before final exams

Students were able to pet their stress away with therapy dogs.

With finals week coming up, students at the University of Omaha may be stressed out.

On Wednesday, they were able to pet their stress away with therapy dogs.

Three different rescue shelters brought dogs to the UNO campus.

Students spent time with them and pet them for a free and fun stress reliever.

Funds raised will go toward the Nebraska Humane Society.

Selena Gutierrez said, "With finals, so much stress builds up and that's all you're thinking about, so it's kind of nice to take breaks once in a while. To have this event, you have a break and you have a state of calmness."

To continue De-Stress Week at UNO, students will get to spend time with some goats Thursday.
