Winnie joined the Fox 42 News Team in August 2016 as a Multi-Media Journalist. She started her career at KECI-TV in Missoula, Montana, where she was a General Assignment Reporter.

Winnie was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois also known as the "Windy City". She fell in love with journalism while in the third grade. She graduated from Hampton University with a Bachelor's degree in Broadcast Journalism. She continued her education at DePaul University, where she earned a Master's degree in journalism.

While a student at DePaul, she interned at WGN News as the morning anchor assistant. She has learned the art of shooting, editing and writing her own stories. Winnie's ultimate goal is to become an anchor.

If she's not reporting the news, she's watching scary movies or shopping. Her favorite foods are tacos and cupcakes. She enjoys moving from state to state pursuing her career. Winnie's life quote is "Do what you love and you'll never work a day in your life."
