Nissan extensively redesigned the Rogue for the 2017 model year, giving it a sleeker exterior and adding a hybrid model to its stable for the first time. It’s a great vehicle with excellent driving dynamics and amazing interior comfort and quietness.

And now Nissan is tapping into Star Wars fans with a Rogue One Limited Edition. It is the first production vehicle to include Star Wars-branded elements via an exclusive relationship with Lucasfilms.

Nissan is only building 5,400 special edition units and they will be available as 2017 models.

And scene. Coolest display at the @laautoshow. We can all go home now. #laautoshow

The Rogue One Special Edition will be based on the SV trim with the Sun and Sound Touring Package. It will be available in both front- and all-wheel-drive models, and it only comes in two colors: Magnetic Black or Glacier White.

Rogue One is powered by a 2.5-liter, 4-cylinder that delivers 170 horsepower and 175 pound-feet of torque.

The Rogue One package will cost $1,990, so the base price of the special edition model will be $29,890.
