84-year-old and two dogs die in house fire
LINCOLN, Neb. (FOX 42 KPTM) —
Wednesday night, Lincoln Fire and Rescue were called to a home on South 44th street in Lincoln.
A neighbor reported that “flames [were] showing from windows” and that a resident was possibly inside.
The crew reported that upon their arrival, smoke and fire visible from the structure.
Crews initially attacked the fire from the outside then went inside the home where they found the body of, 84-year-old Jerry Snyder and two dogs, who were also found dead inside the home.
LPD Fire Marshall Schweitzer says the fire appeared to be accidental.
