Childcare license revoked for Omaha Day Care, owner's spouse accused of sexual assault

The Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) says the childcare license of Deb's Day Care has been revoked effective immediately.

Documents sent by the DHHS says William Harrison, the spouse of Debra Harrison, has admitted to two counts of sexual assault of a child.

William Harrison is listed as a secondary caregiver for the program according to department records.

The accused assaults happened between Dec. 14th, 2014 and early Jan. 2019, according to the documents.

The documents also say the possible assaults happened at Deb's Day Care, which is run out of the couple's home on Bedford Ave.

The DHHS says Debra Harrison may not provide any care for any children other than her own until getting a new license.
