Heavy law enforcement presence remains at ICE office a day after raids
GRAND ISLAND, Neb. —
A heavy law enforcement presence remained at Grand Island's Immigration and Customs Enforcement office a day after raids in northern Nebraska.
Detainees were taken to G.I. Wednesday, where a large tent was set up behind a fence.
Law enforcement on scene around 5:00 a.m. Thursday would not confirm or deny the detainees remained on the property.
NTV's Jessica Stevenson said she could see movement in the tent and lots of ICE agents still on the office property.
