Man arrested after kidnapping 19-year-old woman at knife-point, police say

A man was arrested Wednesday morning after an abduction near 44th Avenue and G Street.

At around 11:20 a.m., officers arrived at the home to investigate a disturbance.

They were told that a man abducted a woman at knife-point before driving off in a silver Kia Forte.

Officers found the car and 19-year-old woman in the 3000 block of South 28th Street.

After a short search, they found and arrested Cesar Antunez-Landa, 20.

Officers say Antunez-Landa also threatened his father with a knife.

He was booked into Douglas County Corrections for kidnapping, using a weapon to commit a felony, attempted first-degree felony assault, terroristic threats, domestic violence assault.
