Metro Community College hosts national debt trivia night
Metropolitan Community College held a trivia night Thursday.
The subject? The national debt.
Participants had a chance to show off their knowledge of the nation's $20+ trillion debt.
The League of Women Voters was also there to help those in attendance get registered to vote.
Dr. Amy Fors says it's an important issue and what a better way to learn about it than with trivia.
"Our students they're going to be the ones who are going to be dealing with this," she said. "The national debt is up to $21 trillion, and this is a very serious topic. Maybe trivia makes is a little more fun but it is something students need to know about."
The League of Women Voters and Metropolitan Community College gave prizes to everyone who participated.
