OMAHA, Neb. (FOX 42 KPTM) — The Micah House says it is proud to offer a Girl Scout troop to school-age girls.
Unlike many traditional troops, the Micah House says their meetings are held where the girls eat, sleep and live.
The Micah House says it offers a life-changing experience to help girls gain confidence, practice leadership skills, and learn life skills such as goal setting and money management.
Now that the Girl Scout Cookie season has arrived, the Micah House troop is hosting three, drive up cookie booths.
The cookie booth is located at their Charles E. Lakin Human Services Campus at 1415 Avenue J in Council Bluffs, Iowa on the following days and times:
Last year, the Micah House troop sold 720 boxes and have ambitions to sell 800 boxes this year.
