Neighbors react to Omaha man accused of killing his father
OMAHA, Neb. (FOX42KPTM)-An Omaha man is accused of killing his seventy-nine-year-old father.
"My whole house was lit with police lights," Sandy said. She lives across the street from the home where it all happened.
Omaha police arrested William Bunderson Jr. just before midnight on Tuesday. They say he shot and killed his father, William Bunderson Sr.
Bunderson Jr. was booked on First Degree Murder and using a gun to commit a felony.
"It's really sad that this happened."
Sandy says she never really noticed anything off about the family's relationship.
"In the nicer weather I saw the mom walking the dog and when it got nasty like this, the son walked the dog."
Another neighbor who didn't want to go on camera noticed some other things. She tells FOX 42 that the son and father never got along and seemed to argue about the smallest things.
"It blows your mind, it's hard to even fathom something like that happening anywhere to anyone."
This is still an on-going investigation.
