Diabetics will now have a new mobile center to help them keep their blood sugar under control.

Along with screenings, people can now get flu shots.

There are also vision and blood pressure checks along with foot care and lead testing.

Some say the center will help many who don't know they have diabetes.

"Those are the folks who don't know find out until they go blind or they have severe kidney problems or they have a heart attack and this can save lives and it can certainly improve lives," type 1 diabetic Deborah Cook said.

The services are available to adults and kids, and everything is free.

On Monday, the center will start traveling to homeless shelters, schools, and other places around the metro.
