Man accused of child exploitation found in Montana
UPDATE: Thanks to multiple tips from citizens to the Nebraska State Patrol (NSP) tip-line, the subject of a child exploitation investigation has been arrested in Montana.
Thanks to information provided by the public, Hornkohl was taken into custody by authorities in Billings, Montana less than two hours after NSP requested public assistance.
Hornkohl has been arrested on charges related to possession of child pornography.
Hornkohl will be returned to Keith County. The investigation remains ongoing.
Investigators with the Nebraska State Patrol (NSP) are seeking the public’s help in locating the subject of a child exploitation investigation.
On May 10, NSP Investigators served a search warrant at a residence in Ogallala in response to a National Center for Missing and Exploited Children cyber tip-line report of suspected child exploitation offenses.
Pursuant to the warrant, multiple items were seized from the residence.
An arrest warrant has been issued for an occupant of the home: Jason Hornkohl, 39.
The current whereabouts of Hornkohl are unknown.
