Omaha police respond to robbery call overnight; surveillance footage released

UPDATE: On Thursday, police released surveillance footage of the robbery.

Anonymous tips through Crime Stoppers that lead to an arrest where a firearm is recovered are eligible for an enhanced reward of up to $1,000.

OMAHA, Ne (FOX42KPTM) - An investigation is underway into a robbery that was reported in Omaha overnight.

It happened shortly after 1:00 Monday morning at the Kwik Shop near 48th and L Streets. According to police, an employee told them someone walked in wearing all black clothing, showed a gun and demanded money. Police say that person, after taking cash, then took off on foot heading westbound.
