Omaha woman injured in domestic violence assault, police say
OMAHA, Neb. (FOX42KPTM) —
A woman is recovering from an injury after she says her husband assaulted her Saturday evening.
At around 8 p.m., police were called to a home near Cottonwood Lane and Spencer Street.
There, a 37-year-old woman told officers her husband began assaulting her and holding her down to the ground.
She said he lunged at her with a pocket knife and she sustained a minor cut while defending herself.
She was not taken to the hospital. Her husband left the area before police arrived.
