Omaha woman turns 111

OMAHA, Neb. (FOX42KPTM) — One local woman is celebrating a special birthday.

Thelma Stukliffe turned is turning 111.

She is an Omaha native who graduated from Benson High School.

In 1924, she married at the age of 17.

These days, she doesn't miss morning exercise and loves to play a competitive game of bridge.

We asked what her secret to living a long life.

“Day by day, living in a normal way and you'll be fine," Stukliffe said.

She had cake and spent time with family.
