Man shot near Emmet Street Sunday night, police look for suspect's vehicle
OMAHA, Neb. (FOX 42 KPTM) —
Sunday night police were called to the area of 43rd and Emmet street for a shooting.
Police say when they arrived there were shell casings but no one was there. While at the scene, dispatch told the officers that a someone with a gun shot wound had arrived at Nebraska Medical Center.
Witnesses say Anton Linear had been shot while walking.
Linear was shot in the back but is expected to be okay.
Police are looking for the suspect who they believe was driving a new black Jeep Cherokee with paper license plates.
This is an ongoing investigation, anyone with information is asked to call Omaha Crime Stoppers at 444-STOP. Helpful information is eligible for a $10,000 reward.
