Persons of interest in Sydney Loofe disappearance booked into Missouri jail

Bailey Boswell, 23, and Aubrey Trail, 51, and were taken into custody Thursday.

Two persons of interest in the disappearance of 24-year-old Sydney Loofe have been booked into a jail in Taney County, Missouri, according to police.

Aubrey Trail, 51, and Bailey Boswell, 23, were taken into custody Thursday.

Authorities believe they were with Loofe on the night she disappeared, and Loofe was reported missing on Nov. 16. Her last known location may have been Wilber, Nebraska.

Trail and Boswell said they had been in contact with the Lincoln police, trying to give them as much information as possible.

On Thursday, police confirmed that the pair attempted to make contact over the phone and that they were located in the midwest.

"There are outstanding warrants for Bailey Boswell for possession of some type of narcotic, I don't know off the top of my head, and then there is a Saline County District Court warrant for Aubrey Trail for possession of a firearm by a prohibited person," said Lincoln Police Chief Jeff Bliemeister.

Police are still searching for Loofe, and anyone with information can call the FBI at 402-493-8688 or the Lincoln Police at 402-441-6000.
