Woman credits seat belt with saving her life

Hundreds of people die each year from not wearing a seat belt.

But one woman swears by her seat belt, even said it saved her life.

Terry Holt and her family were in a car accident several years ago.

The Holt's vehicle was hit head on by a truck, Terry Holt getting the brunt of the impact.

Every person in the Holt car had on their seat belt and everyone walked away alive.

The Nebraska State Patrol wrapped up their "Click it or Ticket" campaign and said 2018's number were much better than past years.

Lieutenant Matt Sutter said citations for seat belt violations were down by over 100.

But Holt said everyone should always wear their seat belt.

She said it could mean the difference in walking away with your life.
